Merry Christmas:)

Our holiday traditions start the day after thanksgiving. While all of my family is still home, we put up the christmas tree and decorate it, also put up my mom's angels; then we wrap all the doors in the house to look like presents. Decorating and spending time with my family would have to be my favorite!! On Christmas day, we all wake up early and eat breakfast made from my grandma, and drink big mugs of hot chocolate! Afterwards, we open presents. My favorite present of all time was probably my car.

Dear Santa,

Christmas is nearly here, and I'm extremely pumped for you to drop by! Well, I suppose I've
done few naughty things this year that I'm not proud of. However, over all, I think I have been a
pretty good girl. And hopefully I qualify for a few presents. Well honestly, I really don't need
anything, but, a new stereo for my car would be nice. Oh, and my little sister has been somewhat
nice this year, and I believe she deserves a few presents. Also, I just want to ask that you give
everyone a great Christmas!

P.S. We will have better cookies for you this year :) !!!

Love,
Nakisha Nation

M E D I A

I think that the media does do a good job of informing us. However, I wish it was more positive.
Here is my POSITIVE.

Salud!!

If I was sneezing 12,000 times a day I would try my hardest to help find a cure. After a while it would probably drive me crazy! I don't like sneezing as it is, and 12,000 times a day is insane!! I would feel hopeless. I wouldn't be able to go to school, that's not so bad. However, I wouldn't be able to play sports and that would make me very depressed!!

If i was going to make the ultimate sandwich, I would first have honey wheat bread, toasted; melted swiss cheese; shredded chicken; bacon; cucumbers; and ranch!!!! :)

I wish I didn't have to...

I wish I didn't have to do house chores. I'm so busy with sports, extracurricular activities and homework that I rarely have time for my chores. And if I don't do my chores I get my phone or my keys taken away. Which I can hardly live without....So if I didn't have to do chores, then I wouldn't have to worry so much about trying to getting all of my stuff done on top of my chores.

Dress Code.

1. I do think that dress codes are a good idea, it makes yourself, what or whom you are representing look nice as well. I agree with the article and that the cross-dressing and pajamas worn in public or at the college is inappropriate.

2. The purpose of a dress code is to make what you are representing look nice and proper.

3. Three places that dress codes must be followed are schools, most stores (no shoes, no shirt, no service), and an office/work place. These dress codes are in order to make yourself look nice and appropriate while in public, in school or in an office.

4. A place where dress codes are not written out, is at church. Everyone knows that for church you dress nice and wear appropriate clothing. No one should have to write these down, its common sense.

Do you believe in miracles?

YES!!!! :)

Parents!*:)

There are many qualities that make good parents, however not everyone will agree on the same qualities. In my opinion I believe parents should be very supportive in just about anything their child does. But also to be a good disciplinarian, and still be completely honest and trusting in their child. The ways you can tell that a kid has good parenting is how they carry themselves, how they respect others, and how they treat others.

BOO..."]

1. What is a mummies favorite type of music?
-WRAP!!!

2. Where does a ghost go on Saturday night?
-Somewhere where he can BOO-GIE!!

3. What is a vampire's favorite sport?
-Casketball :)!!

Bul[lies]*

Bully-[N]- a person who tries to build there self up by putting others down, by using their strength or 'toughness' to intimidate them.

1. Yes, we do have bullies in our school.

2. I have witness some minor bullying, and honestly I just stayed out of it. However, it were to get serious or dangerous I would notify a teacher.

3. Yes, maybe by talking about their problems to a teacher/counselor or someone that they could trust.

$$$$$$

If I had $50,000 I would probably give a small donation to a cancer charity. Because I've been interested in Oncology. I would also give a large amount to my church or churches in need. Also to my parents, for putting up with my all these years.

Killer Practice.

In my opinion, I do think it was a very harsh practice, only because they couldn't have water. However, running as punishment, I agree with. I do not believe the coach set out to harm or put any of his players in danger. It is very unfortunate that this happened to this player. I can completely understand why the parents would be upset and press charges. But, I hate to say that it is the coaches fault for punishing them so harshly or the players fault for not putting forth enough effort? So I'm not really sure whether I agree with the charges pressed on the coach or not....

MAGIC SCHOOL BUS =]

I've seen and have numerous Magic School Bus videos. I would have to say my favorite is the Busasaurus episode. This episode is when all of the kids and Ms. Frizzle take an adventure 67 million years back to see what dinosaurs were really like. I've always been really interested in dinosaurs and it would be dangerous but a really fun and educational experience!!!

=]NeW sTuDeNt**

If I was in charge of showing a new student around, I would probably start with showing them where all their classes are, and tell them a little bit about each of their teachers. I would be sure to tell them about our awesome athletics program and about our coaches. I would encourage them to do extra curricular activities and to just get involved as much as they can to be known throughout the school.

-**ARRGGHH!!

I'm a big 'sissy' so I know I wouldn't have handled it very well. However, it's really hard to say what I would do in this situation. No one wants to be in that type of position to make that kind of decision. I'm sure I wouldn't have been as brave as Captain Richard Philips.

Chaos!!!--orr--Result??

I think people will react more and keep their eyes open because there is so much more money involved, however I am not sure if this will solve much. There is a chance that more people could die because I'm sure this offer will anger the drug suspects.

-Spring[break*]

During my marvelous spring break, I played a lot of basketball, but I also went dress shopping.

Drugs X-O

There is a huge war going on in Mexico between Drug Cartels. This war is becoming VERY serious, many people are dying each day, from shoot outs in Vancouver, to headless bodies being found in Tijuana. There are also many kidnappings in Phoenix related to this drug war. This war is getting so bad between the U.S. borders that the morgues are overfilling with bodies, and there aren't enough caskets. We need to put a stop to this very soon before it gets any worse! We have to work together to get rid of the people selling these drugs, so that they will not be able to take over any towns or countries.

*cloningg;

This blog is very interesting, I would have to say I think it's kind of "cool" that we are so intelligent that we could figure out how to do all of this. However, I totally disagree with it. I mean, besides it being totally ridiculous, it seems pretty pointless. If you just happen to love your animal THAT much, that you would want to spend all of that money, and clone it, just incase it dies, I'm sure you would love it's clone just as much. But still this is all playing God, and He is the only one that creates life!!!!

Myy Holidayy!!!

If I had to make a holiday of my choice, I would have a National Basketball Week!! This holiday would start the week after the state tournament, right before track. During this holiday there would be a huge tournament with all the teams throughout the region, with no classifications 1A-5A, any team could enter. This would be a competition for the best team in the state.

**M.P.

This situation is very sticky, however it’s not like Phelps is a teenager or something, he is a grown man, he can make is own decisions. I mean, for all we know this could be his first time and he happened to get caught. Michael Phelps is a huge roll model to millions. Him being who he is he should be held accountable for his actions but taking his medals isn’t proving anything, he worked very hard to earn those medals, and taking them away would be wrong because he earned them. I kinda think he should have some sort of punishment, like not competing in the next olympics, but it’s not right to take his medals for something that is just coming up now.

A Moment To Rememberr**

I believe of all people, Frederick Douglass would be very honored to see this historical moment today, as our first African American man becomes president of the United States of America. The reason I conclude Frederick Douglass would be so privileged is because he was one of the first African American men to run for president and was the first to be nominated as a Vice President candidate, in the U.S., running on the Equal Rights Party. Douglass was also very firm believer of in the equality of all people whether black, female or Native American or recent immigrant. He was fond of saying, "I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong."

-Airbus A320;;

"You are one of the 155 passengers on board US Airways Airbus A320.  It's Thursday afternoon and your plane in pulling out onto the runway at LaGuardia Airport."

....................

Once I boarded the plane, I put away my things and tried to relax, because I am terrified of heights. So I put on my head phones, closed my eyes and laid back. The Captain announced lift off, so I took a very deep breath and shut my eyes tight. Right after lift off we were running smooth. About 5 or so minutes later we were flying right over the Hudson River. I had to look out the window adjacent to me to see the beautiful view. For some reason it looked like we were flying rather low. I recognized a few geese below but i thought nothing of them until a thundering roar from behind. And immediately after the Captain announced, "Brace for impact because we're going down." My heart dropped, I froze for a second then right away I started to pray. We started to go faster and faster towards the water, the hit was so intense. People around me started to grab some of their belongings, some were screaming like it was the end. We started to sink very slowly, but surely. A lot of people, including myself grabbed life jackets from the plane crew and went out onto the wings of the plane. About thirty minutes of waiting help finally came, and gladly to say, everyone on the plane was rescued.

"interesting!!!!"

Sadly, my freshman year so far has been pretty boring! However, I guess there are some interesting projects, or experiences I have had this year. This first semester I learned how to make cookies from scratch in Personal and Family Development, and our group made the best cookies. Something else that I guess is "interesting" are proofs! I LOVE math, but geometry makes me think twice...At the moment I am struggling to nail proofs, but I am working extremely hard on perfecting them.

*Wow! 10 years;

In ten years, I will be 25!!! By then I would have already played college basketball for 4 years, but I still have  about 3-4 more years of college, to become an awesome Dermatologist, or any type of surgeon. By now, if not already I would hope to be married to a very handsome man, ready to start a family of our own!! =]. I see my self in a cute house big enough for a family of 4, most likely not in Wellington. But I do want my *future* children to grow up in a town like Wellington, maybe just a little bigger. But for right now, I am going to try my hardest to get to where I want to go and live life to the fullest!!
